Two guitars, piano and voices, the Cotton Blues Pickers make a trip across the old country blues, balads and ragtime music.
The groups turn around Grätzer’s guitar, voice and comments but the excelent piano work play by Adriana Mercurio complete the scene. She plays in a fine and delicious way the piano lines like Leroy Carr or Georgia Tom made it 80 years before. Julieta Pizarro sings with in a Memphis Minnie o Lucille Bogan Style recreating the very rich and complex country blues woman singing.. Finaly, Juan Codazzi plays the slide guitar in the Casey Bill Weldom way making an excelent contribution to the sound of the group.
The goup travell from the old ballads like Make me a Plallet on the Floor, to the vocal duets like Frisco Town or New Stranger Blues. The excelent climax by the group on Leroy’s Carr In the Evenin when the sun goes down or specialy in Dirty Mother for you confirm the excellence of the Cotton Blues Pickers.
This new group make a tribute to the authentic old country blues.
